Hellooo!
Today's post is about 5 beauty products that I think are a must have for the summer months!
1. Dry Shampoo
I don't know about you, but hot weather for me means my hair gets all sweaty and greasy much quicker!! I don't want to dry my hair even more by washing it daily, so dry shampoo is the perfect solution. I use Batiste, which is my favourite dry shampoo out of the few I've tried!
2. Aloe Vera Gel
SPF Sun Cream and After Sun are obvious, but I have found that a natural Aloe Vera gel or cream works best for prolonging your tan, preventing peeling and cooling sunburn! I have no idea where I got the one in the picture above, but you can get Aloe Vera gels from places like Boots, Holland & Barrett and Superdrug in the UK.
3. Lip Balm
The last thing I want on my lips during a hot summers day is a sticky lipgloss or a lipstick, so for casual days out I'll definitely be going for a lip balm instead. Or, even better, a lip balm with a hint of colour! I've been using Baby Lips for months now in Peach Kiss, which has a very slight natural peach tint.
4. Primer
A primer is a must have for me on a night out, especially when its hot and I'm dancing! It will really help to keep your make-up on all night. I use the MUA Primer, which is cheap and works really well for me, although if you are more prone to getting spots you might have to look into a different one.
5. Tinted Moisturiser (preferably SPF!)
I find that I wear foundation a lot less during the day in summer, so a tinted moisturiser is great for days when I feel like I need a bit of coverage but not anything heavy. An SPF one would be even better, but I want to use up my Natural Collection one first!
That concludes my 5 Summer Beauty Essentials! Keep an eye out for my 5 Summer Fashion Essentials (hopefully later this week!!)
