Starting Off: Eyeshadow

Hi!
I know this post is 2 days late (oops) but I've just been super busy since starting uni, I've barely had time to blog! However I didn't want to miss out on the Starting Off eyeshadow post, so here it is, better late than never! :)

I currently only have one eyeshadow product, and to be honest, I definitely wouldn't need any more!

My Naked2 palette by Urban Decay is all I could ever want or need eyeshadow-wise. I should hope so too, at £37! I'm definitely a neutrals girl, in fact I have literally never worn funky coloured eyeshadow. It comes with 12 different neutral shimmery and matte shades, pretty much suitable for every occasion.
Plus it came with a double ended eyeshadow brush, extra bonus!
My most worn colour is probably the really light pinky shimmery shade 'Bootycall', because it brightens up my eyes for everyday use and also looks great on my brow bone.
For a night out look, I probably wear the dark brown shades most, like 'Busted' - a kind of chocolatey dark brown colour, and 'Snakebite' - which is a more golden brown colour and is really shimmery!

I do wear every single shade though, and I love them all. They all have pretty good pigmentation (other than 'Foxy' maybe) and they're all really different, even though some look similar. They also stay put for hours on my oily eyelids without primer, which is definitely a good thing because I'm not carrying that massive case around with me!

Application
I tend to wear two different shades at a time, first a lighter colour all over my lids, then a darker shade in the outer corner of my eye, then use the blending end of the brush to blend them together. I will also sometimes brush some of the darker colour under my eye too.
For an extra dramatic look, I sometimes blend the darker colour into the crease of my eyelid to give my eyes more depth (and make me look a bit older)

I feel like this has been more of a Urban Decay palette review than the Starting Off Project! Does anyone else have this palette? And what are your favourite shades?? Comment below! :)

Thanks for reading!
